TIME: 50 minutes
INGREDIENTS: (for 3 people)
- Red onions
- 200g caster sugar
- 50g honey
- 100g white wine
- CHEESE CRISPS Rosemary
Cleanse the onions, peel them and cut them to washers.
Pour the onions into a pot with the sugar and the honey; add a pinch of salt and white wine.
Cook on medium heat for around 50min. stirring frequently, taking care to remove the foam that comes in and making sure that the mixture remains soft and not caramel.
Once cool, bring it together with CHEESE CRISPS waffles to be garnished with the compote.
